MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURE

  • On behalf of the XAT Association, XLRI Jamshedpur has been conducting Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for the last so many years. It is universally acknowledged to be one of the most rigorous, reliable, robust, and fair examinations. Many students consider XAT to be the ultimate MBA examination in India. More than one hundred business schools use XAT scores for admissions.
  • The XAT scores can be used by the associate members to filter candidates for admission to their respective institutes. The database would include candidates’ profiles including: Name, XATID, DOB, Address, Email id and the scores. This allows the Associate Member Institutes to directly communicate to the candidates.
  • The details of the XAT Associate institute will be published in the www.xatonline.in as well as in Bulletin.

Registration Process

Step 1

In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify the details to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.

Step 2

Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.

Step 4

Candidates can proceed to Scan and upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines

Candidates can proceed to fill Academic and Work experience details of the Application Form.

Step 6

Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.

Step 7

Modify details, if required, and click on "SUBMIT" ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct. ‘Applicant details can not be edited once the application form is submitted after payment.'

Step 8

Select XLRI programme as per your preference if you want to study in XLRI. (Through XAT or Through GMAT)

Step 9

Select the XAT Test City preference. Candidates can choose 2 preferred test cities while filling XAT Application form. Candidates are advised to choose test city closer to their city of residence. However, the final authority to allot the TEST CITY rests with authority. (You can edit the test city preference only once before December 10, 2022.)

Step 10

Click on the "Payment" Tab and Proceed for payment.

Step 11

Click on the "Submit" button.

Payment of Fees

XAT Registration Fee – Rs. 2100/-

Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/- each

Indian candidates can apply through GMAT/GRE for PGDM (GM) whereas an NRI/Foreign national can apply through GMAT for all the programmes. Kindly note GRE scores are only valid for PGDM(GM).

Fee for Indian Candidates applying for PGDM(GM) through GMAT/GRE– Rs. 2500/-

Fee for NRI/Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT– Rs. 5000/-

Instructions

There is facility to download/print application form containing fee details after payment of fees. Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his / her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below.

  • CANDIDATE MAY EDIT THE APPLICATION AND RE-UPLOAD THE PHOTOGRAPH/SIGNATURE IN SUCH CASE.

The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

After submitting your payment information, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE PAYMENT

On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. Non-generation of 'E-Receipt' indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their registered Email ID and Password and repeat the process of payment.

Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful.

For Card charges are listed in Indian Rupee. If you use a non-Indian credit card, your bank will convert to your local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
